magnificent full length red brocade gown from Arnold Scaasi, 1980s, dramatic strapless cleavage-enhancing bodice, sweeping skirt with a horsehair-lined red satin underskirt, a red crinoline, and a red horsehair weight in the hemline, boning through the bodice along with lots of handstitching and expertly finished seams, label in the neck reads “Scaasi Boutique”, handwritten and numbered tag near the hem, size 12, excellent condition with no damage, $550

classic long trench coat from the 1940s, dramatic slub-weave rayon fabric trimmed with a brown velvet collar and buttons, inverted pleat the entire length of the back, big patch waist pockets, lightweight in the style of a raincoat, but with velvet trim it’s wise to not wear it in the rain, fully lined, made by Sherbrooke, best fits sizes 10-12, very good condition with the only apology being slight tears in the lining, exterior perfect, $125
